Fraysexual, also known as ignotasexual, is a sexual orientation on the asexual spectrum describing when someone only experiences sexual attraction towards those that they are not deeply connected with and lose that attraction as they get to know the individual.
Fraysexual is often described as being the "opposite" of demisexual, where sexual attraction only appears once a bond is formed. For an individual who experiences fraysexual attraction leading into demisexual attraction, the term vallissexual may be appropriate.
Fraysexual can be a sexual orientation on its own or can combined with other orientations. For example, one could be fraysexual and pansexual, meaning that when one does experience sexual attraction it is towards individuals of all genders, no matter what.
Fraysexual individuals, after losing their sexual attraction, can still have sensual attraction for a individual.
The romantic counterpart to fraysexual is frayromantic.
